Your Socionics Quadra sucks

I'll be roasting Socionics Quadras because I hate (lovingly) all of the types. You think yours is the best one? Think again. They all suck, because that's how human psychology works. It isn't pretty. This post is meant to be educational as much as it is humorous, so everything I say next is unfortunately true and are real observations, just wrapped in an easily digestible format. Quadra Values in Socionics are the kind of psychological categories that are also cultural phenomena of their own that, once you understand, you start seeing them everywhere. So think of this as being about what the Quadras bring to the collective unconscious.

Alpha Quadra: the kindergarten

Not to infantilize anyone but how are you guys even alive? Go back to the fairytale you came from. Like why do you exist? You don't offer anything that the other Quadras can't do. You're just out there for everyone else's entertainment. You're trying very hard to attach yourself to other Quadras because your own is a scattered mess that might as well not exist, but let's be real, who needs you? You think by smiling and looking pretty you'll manage to find a place in the world, but you're just delusional. Now get yourself to work for everyone's amusement, you're gonna need all the approval you can get if you want to live a life of smiles instead of frowns.

As endearing as their naïveté is, being cute doesn't help them in the slightest, because there was never a scarcity of obliviousness in the first place. The other Quadras can never quite find a use for them, and no one wants to be burdened with the knowledge of their existence.

Beta Quadra: the lunatics

The Socionics community likes to blame Beta for all of the bad things in the world, but I think that's a bit harsh. They're only guilty of committing all of the war crimes and causing some of the worst events in human history together with Gamma. But! They do so with impeccable style. Can you really blame them? Before judging them, make sure you're at least matching them in the fashion department, otherwise you're just going to embarrass yourself.

Beta Quadra is like high school, and just as cringe-inducing. Everyone's here: the jocks, the nerds, and the drama. You all think you're being edgy but you're just annoying and bothering everyone who wants to live a peaceful life without pointless suffering. You just can't keep your shit to yourselves, and it's always everyone else who suffers the consequences. At least with Beta one will never feel left out of the action, but then the question arises of whether or not that's a good thing.

Gamma Quadra: the corporate slop

You guys think you're so important that you base every aspect of human society around yourselves. Everywhere I go it's all you people, with your self-destructive tendencies that make every system collapse on itself, while also being all around so boring and unremarkable that all the other Quadras look more appealing in comparison, even to Gamma itself. You can't even hold a society together without constantly falling out because you just looove infighting and creating conflicts out of absolutely nothing. If one needs to get rid of some Gamma people, one can just leave them in a room together and they'll surely get rid of each other on their own.

The only redeeming quality of Gamma is that, despite completely dominating human society throughout history, they offer the freedom for those uninterested in their bullshit to exist peacefully. With strings attached, of course; just like everything else they do.

Delta Quadra: the participation trophy

I get it, you really want to participate in the Gamma rat race. That's very admirable. I'm sure they'll accept you and will not give you weird looks, and you definitely won't be used at every opportunity to do all the thankless jobs that no one else wants to do. This Quadra combines the worst qualities of Alpha and Gamma: it's scattered and boringly corporate at the same time. Like what are you trying to achieve with this? You're scaring all the Beta hoes.

As you can see, this Quadra is impossible to talk about without comparisons to the other three, because they like to pretend like they don't have an identity of their own. But they actually do: they are the nice old people who would like to get along with the youngsters, but by virtue of not having Valued N​i/S​e they fail miserably at keeping up with the trends. And without the unique and timeless charm that Alpha has, Delta will always come off as old-fashioned.
