Socionics Quadras
In Socionics, the sixteen types are divided into four groups called Quadras based on shared Valued functions, also called Quadra Values. They are as follows:
Alpha Quadra (Valued

Beta Quadra (Valued

Gamma Quadra (Valued

Delta Quadra (Valued

The Quadras occupy different places in society. The most notable divide is between Central (
Ni
Se) and Peripheral (
Ne
Si) Values. Central Quadras are at the front of society, they drive technological and social progress and politics; their Values allow them to be 'mainstream', and, indeed, in the center of everything. Peripheral Quadras, on the other hand, stay local and are mostly invisible to the public eye; they don't feel the need to keep up or involve themselves in danger and cut-throat competition. Some Peripheral types—like LII and SLI—don't exist in the media space at all, while Central types such as SEE and EIE are overrepresented among celebrities and politicians because of their type structure that gives an advantage in competition for public attention. These are the general patterns of Quadras that can be amplified or subverted in individuals. Naturally, not everyone of Central types necessarily wants to be in the center of anything. The vast majority of common folk is, and always was, of Central types.
